F L A M E

: West Bank, 1970
what does a girl for you
when the burly hand-pour
grease, waging death
the limp body
slip on the second eclipse
my eyes lit flames
might exhale
as if the storm
then silence
: I'm just a piece of meat
blister, flounder
the heartbeat is no longer obey

my shadow  decomposes into
ash, the fetus was silent
without power to call his father
who could throw
the mother's face smeared disgrace brought
judgment on table
- I have to die for the honour
own family

however
the world was not prosecute
fault, the sacrificial lamb who then
withheld from slaughter table
: What does a girl for you
when the desire for a life rolling
as fate
it is just a piece of cruelty
heart screams
and petrified in the past

From: Burned Alive, by Souad, Alvabet Literature
true story that rocked about a
