A S M A T --Trip to Kopay District

Go into The Dark Sky

Trip to Kopay District, in order to service population documents in 10 villages become an impressive series of field assignments. The trip starts in the morning, Thursday, November 17, 2016 in feeling upset, for several reasons. Just off the mouth of the weather suddenly overcast, dark sky as if shackled mystery, surging waves shook the entire contents of boat speed, wind chill and worry. Horizon fuse  sky and sea, the limit is too far for a speed boat to be very small on top of the sea. So prayers are being said, may God wills and power over human safety. Two hours of travel, the waves began to subside, we take short rests in Bayun, one of the three speed boat is leaking, repair attempts immediately. A moment later the journey continues with a stop in Pirimapun to ask security personnel who answer well.
The next trip more comfortable with down the river, past bevak, extensive mangrove forests as borderless. Repeatedly we ran into a speed boat riders, tail or ci - traditional boat, we waved to each other. In the most distant places even if no human being himself without manners or summon greetings. Going to the afternoon we stopped at one of the villages to begin a ministry to night then take a rest in  Hahare Village, at district office. The morning service is passed from village to village to the farthest village, Kawet.

A village with different geographical conditions, invisible to the mangrove trees, but wood bus commonly grown in Merauke, Papua region South. While the stem of the river tamed with a width that can reach the human ability to swim from one edge to the other, as if tea brown color of the water in the glass, fresh taste. People so friendly. Anxious public attitudes at the beginning of departure unproven, up until the last village of the most feared.

While working with a solid team in the context of demographic data validation, recording Electronic Identity Card, birth certificate services, and counseling. Each follow up on tasks that support each other, while others in the ministry, which is not in charge of cooking in the kitchen, in front of the bridge village hall, even at a wooden pier. The tired feeling comforted by the cohesion and cooperation are good, especially the amazing scenery along the way.
