THE DOLL SNOW

: last leaf did not even fall, the wind kept calling
eternal cold, distant sun refused

snow was drifting down
mild and soft flakes like illusion
thousand color is white
no black except for the eyes and
shirt button
no red except mouth valves
and the tape on my neck stiff
I shivered in the tundra
looking forward to the Eskimos
hunting the deer
pursuing solar twilight
aurora burst of light just
refracted moment
then pale no power
evening invited the wild wolf
howling in the distance
I froze and fear
all I've got no igloos or flame
the fire
the remaining longs
desire which leads to: "either"
because hot sun
would destroy all my body ....

- An inspiration from the film Shadow of the Wolf,
The lives of the Eskimos -
