A S M A T --Life Along The River

Along the banks of the river for four hours traveling public life seemed so close to nature. Jew - the house's attendant, is a communal house which is always in every village, where Asmat hold democratic, well before the democratic party applied. The sound of engines roaring outboard motor, a sign of mobility of the population is still running. Silent atmosphere in the middle of the jungle with the river as the only mobility infrastructure requires courage for every resident to perform mobility. However, for a traveler for hours sitting on a speed boat, almost without moving is a challenge that must be passed, so that the goal can be achieved most remotest safely.

A S M A T --Four Hours Along The River, Agats - Suator

Four hours trips from Agats to Suator morning around 07.00 am is a different experience. When the sun is shining, the light is golden yellow, shiny, green leaves look as beautiful as emerald, the wind so friendly, so that the water level of the river looked peaceful as the longitudinal length mirror. Occasional birds flying low as if to say hello. Wide river makes the mind as if giddy, it takes courage for the journey, while the tributaries to the width of one stone, always pleasant. Several times each hand waving when the vehicle ran into the water with a different purpose, though not know the truth rider. On the two banks of the river looked bevak, the temporary homes of families who still get  sago in the forest. Is a survival strategy Asmat with nature. Of course, four hours of sitting on the speed boat is not an easy thing, provisions must be prepared, mineral water, lunch boxes, cakes and confectionery. while hats, jackets, and masks required

Speed boat driver to make a stop at one of the villages for a while smoking a cigarette, relaxes the muscle or a ride to the toilet on a family style unknown though.
